The bike is in the shop getting her upgrades and will be ready for this weekend. I decided to forgo the Psycowpath race in Norfolk and the training crit in Omaha this weekend. Instead, I have decided to attend the two days of road races in Des Moines, IA. The call of competition is too strong for me to ignore. With the weather outlook looking very conducive to great racing, nothing can dampen my spirits now. This should be a fantastic way to start the season. My plans are to drive out from Lincoln Saturday morning, race, maybe head over to Iowa City to visit my niece and nephew, then back to Des Moines for some well needed sleep, then race it up one more time. Anyone else heading out to Des Moines to race too? Maybe get some carpooling or something going. I love to save money when I can. hehe
I am definitely coming up blank on what to write right now. To some people this isn't a surprise. hehe Next weekend is the Lincoln Spring Classic, don't forget to register people and then 2 weeks after that is the Iowa City race. This one I am really looking forward to racing. The registration is now open.
Well, best get things caught up at work before the weekend. Don't need any extra distractions. :)

are you saying my level of competition in Omaha isn't high enough? ouch, dude ...
bryan - dude, I'm real sorry, that is not what it means. I'm not much of a writer as everyone is probably aware. Sometimes I just don't explain myself enough. The competition line was just a general statement about racing overall. Probably should have put that as the first line. I'm real sorry.
