The first rule I learned about the taco run was "what happens at the taco run, stays at the taco run." I am going to diverge from that rule a little bit and mention another lesson I learned there. "Just because it looks like single track, doesn't mean it's single track." Riding Zod is so much fun that most of my common sense and reasoning go right out the window. It was discovered, much to my chagrin, that the trails are horse trails and that they are not maintained. Much flesh and blood was shed that night.
I still had a great time and it was fun being out with a great bunch of people who enjoy riding and having fun. The weather was near perfect with clear skies and a full moon to ride underneath. I heard about a Halloween ride coming up and I may just have to do that too. Just not sure if I could come up with a costume in time. Though if I have many more accidents, I could go as a slasher victim.
Sure hope Sydney is going to have another Cross Training session out at her parents. I missed the last one and from what she wrote up, sure sounded like fun. It would probably be beneficial to me to practice and learn the skills I will need before going to a race. Also, it's another means for me to work on my social phobias. hehe

oh yeah, there's gonna be some more farm cross action. :)
Social phobias? Puh-shaw!
If anything, society should be scared of us!
