So, I was thinking, what could I write in my blog since everything has been rather quiet for some time. There probably is no interest in hearing about me playing video games on my Playstation this weekend, so I had done some contemplating on what to write. Here is a short list of things I have learned in life over the last 30 some odd years:
- There is no such thing as "risk free" sex. There is always a price to pay...ALWAYS.
- O.J. did it.
- The best way to lose weight is cut back on portions and exercise. There is nothing easier.
- My niece and nephew are the greatest.
- If you wash bike shorts by hand, make sure you get ALL the soap out of the crotch pad.
- Kids are the only ones with an honest perspective on life.
- Internet dating is dangerous and very scary.
- Tolerant and open minded people do not exist, they are a myth like the Loch Ness monster.
- Bigfoot, Loch Ness monster, the Yeti (not the bicycle), and the Chupacabra DO NOT exist.
- Knowledge is a three edge sword, your side, their side, and the truth. The truth almost always gets lost.
- The molecules that make us, also make up the vast universe. Therefore, we are all star stuff.
- We have advanced so far in medicine that we are no longer affected by natural selection.
- We are the sum of the choices we have made in our lives.
- Try to do things you have always wanted to do or try. (legally of course)
- Pets are the greatest company. There is nothing else that provides unconditional love.
- When you try to become a non-conformist, you become a conformist.
That should be good for now. Maybe I will compile a much larger list, who knows. Enjoy everyone.

Every element heavier than iron was created during a super nova explosion. So, all the carbon that is in you and your bike were created billions of years ago.
You might also want to get that #1 looked at. :)
#11 is my fav
Yeah right Chupacabras doesn't exists...what next..Santa is a myth too! HA!
Well, since I have never gotten what I asked for for Christmas, I will have to say he is a myth too. hehe
Wow, that is all some heavy stuff. You should lighten up a little bit.
I should talk to your coach and tell him that you have too much time to think about all this stuff.....
:) Umm...Chupacabras do exist, Kevin. Ever seen one in Wilderness Park? I have. Scary little buggers.
if you're riding the rightway then you will have a lot of time to think about life. I do my best thinking on slow recovery rides.
shoot for the moon. if u miss at least you'll fall amoungst the stars.
coffee+skittles=rocket fuel or a dry cleaner. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dry_cleaning
I live right down the street from a dry cleaners. I imagine what I could do with there cleaner waste everyday on my recovery rides. See, not so wasteful those recovery rides. :)
Oh man... you should have stayed with us. We ended up out at Haymarket park baseball diamond when we got back into town. We were way closer to yer house than mine then.
next time... :)
figures that would happen. dang.
And the sad results of #12 all work at your office, don't they? Hehe.
